GSD's campus is located northeast of Harvard Yard and Memorial Hall Street (Harvard University). Gund Hall is the main building, which has studio spaces and offices for approximately 500 students and over 100 faculty and staff, conference and seminar rooms, workshops and dark rooms, a media center, computer services, Chauhaus, cafeteria , a project room, Piper Auditorium and the Frances Loeb Library. The central study space, also known as trays, extends through five levels under a clear-span roof step. Gund Hall has a garden with a basketball court and is often used for events such as an exhibition area of
​​class projects, and as the setting for the graduation ceremony.

The other buildings are a house MDesS for advanced studies program and a House Sumner for research projects, administrative offices and offices for graduate students.
